I do not own this material. All credit goes to GameFreak and all others who create the Pokémon games.
This is the background music of Lavender Town in the games Pokémon Green, Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue, and Pokémon Yellow. This version is altered to mimic the original OST. Although the entire loop is much longer due to the staggered alignment of melodic patterns, the OST version crops this to two full revolutions of the 1st pulse channel (red notes) before fading out. The same is also applicable to the Pokémon Mansion's music.
Lavender Town, which appears in Pokémon Red & Blue and their remakes, is a small city located in the far east of the Kanto region. It is known for its distinctive purple hue and the superstition floating around it. Unlike most other locations, Lavender Town does not have a Pokémon Gym, but still contains a Pokémon Center and a Poké Mart, alongside a tall building known as the Pokémon Tower, the landmark of Lavender Town. These are located in the northwest, southeast, and northeast regions of Lavender Town, respectively. Upon entering the tower, the player encounters their rival on the second floor, and a battle ensues. Afterwards, the player may explore the tower. Floors 3 through 6 are filled with items, ghosts, and trainers using ghost Pokémon. On floor 5, there's a space in the center where the player can heal their Pokémon instantly. But it's impossible to progress to floor 7 unless the player has acquired the Silph Scope, an item that allows the identification of ghost Pokémon, which can be attained along with a Master Ball by defeating Giovanni in the Silph Co. building in Saffron City. Doing so will allow the player to progress and discover an old man named Mr. Fuji on floor 7, the top floor of the Pokémon Tower. Fuji gives the player the Poké Flute, which when played is certain to wake sleeping Pokémon, and returns home. The acquisition of the Poké Flute is what allows the player to progress.
