'''Markers''' are a feature in the sequencer that allow for changing certain values on the fly while a sequence is being played. For example, they can make an instrument get louder at a certain point, or change the tempo of the song over time. Markers are Online Sequencer's equivalent to automations in other [[wikipedia:Digital_audio_workstation|DAWs]]. They can also be used to achieve [[wikipedia:Low-frequency_oscillation|LFOs]], such as vibrato, tremolo, and sidechain.

To make a marker, right-click on the measure bar. This is the section with numbers right below the main sequencer interface at the top of the sequencer itself, then select a marker type from the dropdown menu under the "Edit Markers" pop-up and click the
+
symbol to finally add a marker.
