"Destiny is powered by the stars themselves." - Dr. Nicholas Rush, Stargate Universe

A team of civilians, military personnel, and scientists must fend for themselves when their hidden base comes under attack and they are forced through a Stargate, only to find themselves on an old, unmanned starship built by a race called the Ancients, known only as Destiny. Although they are unable to return to Earth; The Destiny traveling through the universe locked on an unknown course, through trial and turmoil the team are able to survive and repair the ship, visit other worlds using the Stargate to gather resources, and slowly unravel the mystery behind Destiny's mission and their own.
