pitch - bending or what ever it's called

what if you could bend notes so they slowly/quickly changed pitch? idk i thought it would be cool with really low 8 bit sine or something. i got this idea from beepbox but still it would be cool on here with different instruments. is this a good idea?

This would be hard to add to the grid, and would only work with the 8bits, as the others are sample based.
