I apologize for the shifting between e piano and grand piano; if I stack too much of either, the sound actually disappears at random points... I hope this attempt at dynamics won't hurt the judgement too much. ##1388947

Also, the orchestration and arrangement for waltzes can be pretty specific. Other than that, it pretty much is just have a time signature of 3/4 with the accent on the first beat.(03-18-2020, 05:29 AM)MysTrysT Wrote:(03-08-2020, 12:23 PM)Ourobius Wrote:i'm pretty sure there's more than just a 3/4 time signature to a waltz.(03-08-2020, 02:40 AM)MrMCgrady Wrote: ##1184499 Sound design is my passion

honestly tbh genre is a lie, the contests are here for you to experiment more than being hard limitations of what you can and can't do (unless there are set limitations in the rules) as long as you make something resemblant of the theme then you're good to go, some waltzes might be more waltzy than others/fuse with the personal tastes of the composer at the end of the day you should improve on your personal skillset rather than trying to be able to replicate the exact genre of something with these contests, that's what i intended when i first started them |
