Some sequences I want to compose use orchestral hits, but I haven't found a good enough substitute.
Does anyone know of a good substitute for orchestral hits?

"created through the layering of the sounds of a number of different orchestral instruments playing a single staccato note or chord." Do that haha (05-09-2022, 09:19 AM)Khamcophony Wrote:(05-09-2022, 08:56 AM)Lopyt Wrote: Orchestral hit being??
Detune French horn with nova reverb makes for a somewhat convincing low choir sometimes. other than that. I use the violin, and cello in their intended roles mostly. i also use smooth synth to supplement sustain currently experimenting with Orchestral styles myself so happy to share any tips i come across

Steel drums, violins, and cello with drums usually does the job alright. It takes some messing around with Similar to this
