I have this idea for os where it's like bandlab where you can put an instrument through a virtual guitar pedal, then we could make nearly any sound for electric guitar.

Chorus and Flangers/Phasers would be great additions to OS.

You can, to an extent, create a flanger effect by cloning an instrument and manually delaying the cloned instrument by a small fraction.  I tested it on a Distortion Guitar but I can't replicate the flanger's "whoosh" effect:
