make them conform to a chosen grid!!!

I think a button next to any setting, or key combination that lets you "keyframe" specific settings at any particular time without having to go to the right click measure bar marker menu would be nice. Having the instrument lock ALSO lock markers would be great. Having more room below the hitboxes of the markers to drag the mouse to select specific ones would also be nice, since selecting a bunch of markers is kind of a pain right now. You could also make the marker icon | instead and add empty space between them to select from.

A lot of people would probably like a visual representation of marker points like how DAWs do automation, I don't think it would be as useful from a workflow perspectove to my other suggestions, but probably would be good too
