A lot of your guys entries aren't really jazz, meaning they might not score as well on the contest. Here are some cool examples of jazz to inspire you. Think of jazz like swinging progressive rock with lots of ride cymbal and solos, where the drums are kind of more a background noise rather than gunshots on 2 and 4. There is often piano, guitar, bass, or some kind of wind instrument. Usually the bands are medium sized with like 3 to 6 different instruments, though more is not unusual. You probably could get away with just a piano solo over swinging cymbals. You can make jazz house also where instead of jazz drums just copy some house beat and write over that, but if you do that it the rest of it needs to be pretty jazzy
