Ok wild idea but what about this: Seperate instance of OS thats a gacha game where you gamble for instruments (everything exists on the main website still) and you get 1 random spin per day to try and unlock instruments or you can pay for more spins. We can also hire LucentTear to draw little anime characters for all the instruments so it feels more like a *****ty mobile game. Then people can vote on the best sequences per week and have little graphs and whatever for it to make it feel competitive or whatever.

lts all about finding the right value to go with the perceived value. In other words, you need to find a value close to what people would actually be willing to pay for a colored username.
Instead of having to use real money every time you could just pay for a bunch of OS coins at once and them use them casually so it doesn't feel like you are spending money every time you use them

What are your ideas on how to do this, that you would actually want to see on the website?
I had an idea: Imagine being able to pay real money to have your sequences advertized across the website, so you pay a certain amount for sequence advertising time?
Another idea: Add the ability to directly donate money to your favorite OS users, then the website takes like %10 or something
Another idea: Pay to not have your sequence copyable by other users.
I don't think we should limit any of the features of the sequencer itself, like no paid instruments, clone amount, etc. Since that creates a divide between paid users and not paid users sequences
I like the second idea.
