Dear Online Sequencer Members,

I do hope this post finds you well! Heheheh… I’m Baldi! And I’m oh-so-eager to meet every single one of you! It’s always exciting when I get to meet bright, creative minds who love making music — and learning too! After all, learning is what makes the brain go ding!

I’ve been listening to your sequences... and boy, oh boy, they’re just wonderful! Some are a little out of tune, but that’s okay! Mistakes are how we learn, after all! Just don’t make too many... heheheh.

If you ever need help with rhythm, math, or basic fundamentals, you know who to ask! I’ll be around... keeping an eye out... listening closely... grading every note you play!

Can’t wait to teach you all something special real soon!

Yours Educationally, Baldi!

Dear SlimeJime,

Oh ho! “Your bald,” you say? Well, actually, I’ll have you know I have one perfectly healthy hair remaining — right on top of my head! It’s my favorite hair, too! I even brush it every morning before class!

You see, it’s not about how many hairs you have, it’s about how much knowledge you keep underneath them! And judging by your spelling of “your,” it seems someone might need a quick grammar refresher! Heheheh…

So! I’ll see you after class for a little extra lesson, SlimeJime. Don’t be late — I’ve got my ruler ready!

Dear SlimeJime,

WH—WHAT?! No! NO NO NO! I am a teacher, not a freak! The ruler is for education, not whatever weird nonsense you’re thinking of!! It’s for math problems, discipline, and accurate measurements!

You think I go around waving a ruler for fun?! I use it to make sure your answers are straight lines, not crooked ones! Sheesh! Some people can’t tell the difference between learning tools and weird assumptions!

Now please, take your mind out of the gutter and back into the classroom! Before I give you an extra credit assignment in Common Sense!

Why do you hate it if the lines aren't straight? Homophobic much?!?!

Dear Lopyt,
WHAT?! No!! That’s not what I meant at all!! I don’t care if a person’s straight or not — I care if their LINES are! You know, geometry?
Math? Angles and rulers?! It’s literally my job!

If your line curves, that’s fine — as long as you can prove it’s a parabola! I’m an educator, not a bigot! The only thing I’m prejudiced against is wrong answers!

Honestly… you people take one innocent math metaphor and twist it like a bent protractor!

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go scream into my chalkboard.

Who gets to decide the wrong answers? In many places being gay is the "wrong answer" due to cultural differences or bigotry. If tou want to prove something prove that

Also, topologically most of your geometries are identical

Dear Lopyt,

Okay, okay—let’s take a deep breath and step back for a moment. I think we might’ve had a little miscommunication here!

When I said “wrong answers,” I was talking strictly about math problems—numbers, equations, geometry. The kind of “right” and “wrong” that comes from the laws of arithmetic, not from people’s lives or identities. I’d never tell anyone that who they are is incorrect—that’s not education, that’s just mean!

You’re right that culture and perspective matter a lot. As a teacher, I always want learning to feel safe, not judgmental. And hey, topology jokes? I can appreciate that! Everything connects somehow—maybe that’s the real lesson here.

Oh so you think you can determine if someone's gender is correct using math? Or do you mean right a in right wing politics and everything else is wrong?
