Invisible ads on top of the editor

Sometimes when I try to click on the editor (especially on the measure bars), it'll randomly take me to an advertisement page. This only happens when there doesn't appear to be an advertisement in the top right corner of the screen, where the ads are supposed to be. And when these invisible popups appear, it's always for housing websites. It seems like those ads are appearing in the wrong spot somehow, on top of the editor instead of in the top right corner, because when I click on where the ad is supposed to be, I get nothing. I use an adblocker, but it doesn't seem to be working.

Maybe a good idea to run Malwarebytes scan just in case

honestly the inclusion of ads in places like that is already annoying, we don't need invisible ads like the way Nikolay went
I think what's happening is the service the ads use is down because it occurs on other websites too

I was able to sort of fix the problem by going into Fullscreen when there are ads visible. That prevents any ads from spawning whatsoever
