Okay, while I'm getting caffeinated from absolutely nothing at 3 AM in the mornaftevening, I thought about posting another poll.
Surely everyone writes, but do you do it for fun, or only for the essays? Tell me about it.
Currently, I have been writing the story for my personal project Gaia's Tessellation (I know you've seen the name before once or twice) and it's going well. Albeit slowly. I can't release what I have so far, since one I actually don't have a lot down (give only 2,000 words) and there are still details undecided. Two, I write too much so I might need to compress my thirty word long sentences to something manageable. It is the tale of a lost noble's ascension in the ruined world's puzzle in the sky.
On the fanfiction side, I am writing a psychological horror, comfort, and tragedy genre story that might include elements of ESP and morbid imagery to solidify some dark themes that I experience in real life. Fanfictions aren't about fluff and I'd like to prove that wrong, especially when I'm writing about a ship that the fandom often makes indecent things about them. Just like Gaia's Tessellation, the details of this one are still mostly unfinished (4,500 words exact on the Google Docs I'm writing in) and I need to get working. A lot of themes are already written out, however, and a general direction of the story is set into place.
Yes I have a fanfiction.net account out there. I'm not posting it but it should be awfully easy to get to. The fanfiction I have posted is old and abandoned, plus I don't even ship the couple in the story anymore.
