For these past months, for I use a 300-ish dollar chromebook, I've had to rush to turn on fast graphics which only works half of the time unless I add a marker to prompt the sequence to do it for me, close the bottom ad, fullscreen to hopefully disable the upper one, shut my wifi off after the sounds loaded, and wait for the lag to stop. If I don't, the sequence audio either cuts off constantly, crackles, or just can't play altogether.
I log on now and there are now video ad popups everywhere including in the forum, three in one cluster under each post, one in the bottom right corner popping up 5 seconds after the last one ends, the first time logging on to one taking up the whole top half of the screen and hiding the top menu bar altogether.
What is going on? I hate to hurt the feelings of any side of the situation here, but these ads seem to be commencing a gradual yet hostile takeover of onlinesequencer, especially affecting its performance. I get it if onlinesequencer needs some money from ads, but this seems to be getting ridiculous. I just wanna know why we have so many ads and why this whole ad operation is going this far.

UPDATE: The video ads are taking up enough ram to make it show the dialogue asking me if I want to exit the page, and the sequence won't play, so now I can't even use this anymore.

First suggestion is to use uBlock Origin to block the ad domains. I believe OS is using Ezoic as the ad provider. You can support OS still through BuyMeACoffee.
Second suggestion is not to buy a chromebook, as you can get much better laptops for much cheaper with more RAM, better CPUs, etc. I can look for some if you want

I think what I should've said was I use a school chromebook. I might be stuck without access to onlinesequencer for a while seeing that it's the only device besides my brother's pc of which I'm not allowed to use that can run it, sorry.
I really appreciate the offer for looking for another laptop, but I don't have the money, and probably not the permission either. You could look into it if you want, but you don't have to if you don't want to. If either of us finds a good option, I might look into it in later years when I have a job, sorry.
OK for those of you who have already read my message, I kind of feel bad with how I sounded in my message, and I would like to apologize. I would also like to apologize for any misleads I may have caused; as a mere minor still under parental housing, I don't have too much money, I use a school chromebook and hence can't buy my own, nor can I install any adblockers, so I'm just stuck and confused. It may be a while before I can use this site for composition once again, but it'll be alright; I need to get out and touch some grass anyway.
