Thats fine, classical music is super pretentious and elitist anyways. You will probably learn a lpt more about music from a production perspective than a classical perspective, at the very least, its current and music people actually care about

Ok what I think you should do is cut it off at 15 seconds. As an intro this is great, but it needs to be an intro to something. I think it could go into something a little Dream-Theatery like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjoKyj51o_I or perhaps EDM or something, just make it have a full sound with moderate intensity and drums at 15 seconds in

i think the song is great, bean. i can imagine some really good chords and maybe a bass line would make it sound even better. And i can also feel that percussion could make this song better too. I gave some chords a try. I myself am not good at coming up with chords, but I just added some at the first three measures. Well, anyways, I thought I'd give you this just as an idea to open your mind for what you could potentially do with it. Maybe someone else could help you expand on it. Great song, and good luck.

thank you both! this will be really helpful, hopefully :} i might move to cakewalk by bandlab because it's apparently a better alternative but i'll be sure to keep it up!

Np bean, glad to help. I just edited my own edit also, so now there's a little bit of bass notes and chords and percussion in measures 5 and 6 in mine as well, and I kinda liked how it was going. Just to give you an idea for what was kinda going in my mind when I first heard it.

Cakewalk is much better than OS. Weird UI thoug, if you find it difficult to use then perhaps try LMMS or Reaper since they too are free. Cubase is supposed to be fantastic, and Studio One if you can afford them. I haven't tried them yet though

i love the bass on the edit you made, firebolt, i think i'll certainly expand on it more

actually, come to think of it, firebolt, do you think you would be open to the idea of collaborating on this? it's a great start, but i'm much more suited to melodies rather than bass or drums
