Honestly, I don't Even care what people say. I just want to make music. I realize that winning is not that great because, all I get is mixed feedback and temporary praise. I just using this tournament thing to push myself to my limits.  If my stuff is not that great; that is y'all opinion. That does not however, give you the right to fill my comments page with toxicity. After all, you wouldn't want to not violate the terms of services?

I will try to help explain a little. Each monthly contest has a different theme (like a certain genre or style) that contestants compose to. This time was shoegaze, which is like dreamy indie/pop rock. You can find the contest theme at the top of the monthly contest post. I think people were just trying to explain that you posted an 8-bit sequence when they were expecting a shoegaze sequence. It is not against the terms of service to have guidelines in a competition, it is not toxic to attempt to explain them. Guidelines are not an opinion. Yes, a lot of people in this community come off as super toxic, but we really aren't all that bad when you get to know us.

You're probably a minor so I'll let this slide but next time read what the contest theme is and submit something that actually fits that theme, and if it doesn't and someone rightfully points that out, don't throw a tantrum about it. Thank you have a nice day.
