We Will Fall Together
We Will Fall Together By Streetlight Manifesto
We Will Fall Together is the opening track for Streetlight Manifesto's third studio album, "Somewhere in the Between", which released in 2007.
The lineup for the band during this album's release is as follows:
Lead vocalist and guitarist Tomas Kalnoky,
Vocalist and saxophonist Mike Brown,
Saxophonist and vocalist Jim Conti,
Bassist and vocalist Pete McCullough,
Trombonist and vocalist Mike Soprano,
Trumpeter and vocalist Matt Stewart,
Drummer Chris Thatcher,
and Percussionist Demian Arriaga.
"One of the oldest as well as one of the newest songs on the record, in that it was written piece-by-piece, over the course of about ten years. I distinctly remember sitting in only my boxers, on the floor of my own dorm room at Rangers, strumming my acoustic and quietly singing the melody that opens this very record. The chorus came to me as we were laying down drums and bass. We were up to the part in the song that should've been a chorus, but I had nothing. Fortunately, that night, while Chris and Pete slept on the floor of the studio, the chorus fell into my lap. Upon staging the first line to them the following morning, I thought to myself "And we probably will, for the better or worse."
- Tomas Kalnoky, Somewhere in the Between liner notes.

This song is extremely catchy and a song that has the rare occurrence of electric piano and brass being used really well, cheers to you 🔥
