BRO the effect at m74 is INSANE !

i may have thought this was overrated in 2021, but i never had any hard feelings towards you. the os games were fun and i'll always remember you with those

although the drop sections still sound muddy to me, i can hear the story you wanted to portray through this song. i simply felt like the mixing was off. of course, i was too inexperienced to give thorough critique and more-so, i had zero clue i started a fire in the comments. apologies

so what if it isn't mixed perfectly this is a place to have fun and ***** around it doesn't have to be perfect, this is more artistic and well composed than 99% of the sequences on this site anyway

this song is amazing and still stands the test of time and anyone who doesn't think so should get their hearing checked honestly

hang in there, kiddo. music is subjective. even if you put your everything into a song, someone out there will have criticism. you already *know* you have talent, so brush it off and use the criticism to hone your skills further :)

I implore anyone who decides to comment (especially criticism) to think about what they are saying. thanks, and stay positive

please be considerate when leaving negative comments on a piece of music (especially on this website). comments have a LOT of impact on the artist (at least they do for me).p

while i understand that my mixing was not great at the time i composed this, i had been on OS for a matter of months - and I'm totally fine with constructive criticism but comments such as those really destroyed my sense of self worth around my music for awhile.

i've been afraid to respond to puzzle's comment for years.

iconic

:<

based bentoonie ??

sorry to go all music student on you, actually i really need the practice i have an exam soon :p and you're totally entitled to your opinion i just wanted to get my thoughts out there!

i understand why there may be an aversion to the song, the mixing may leave more to be desired or sound a bit full on, but i've come to enjoy this piece a lot more over the months i've known it for

it's not necessarily a singular feature that's particularly mesmerising, but the composition as a whole, with all the intricacies and interwoven parts with enough attention to detail that you notice something new upon each listen and it never gets old. and then that's contrasted with the sudden change at 107 where we see a more "exposed" section with beautiful minimalist writing, yet it's arguably the most powerful moment in the entire song.

i don't know what part of it is so mesmerizing to literally everyone

this is decent i guess

The approval we might talk about

Snakey approves

Way too good!

the composition from 107 onwards is amazing

well this is one way to make me look at my own work and think "if he can do this why cant I?" either absolutely astonishing

i want to make something this amazing one day

this is so fucking good
