I finished this one within a day, huh...
If there is room for improvement, please tell me! Constructive criticism is always appreciated!
So this is the theme of like, the spirit version of the boss from:
,
so this remix (?) sounds kinda spooky!
I made this theme with the image of a dangerous ancient dino spirit in mind (what a mouthful!). The supersaw and all the key modulations really gives it an ethereal feel, almost like you're fighting an amorphous spirit (which you are when this would play haha).
The soul had amassed enough energy to interact with its surroundings and eventually emerged from the ground inside the underworld. This hungry vengeful spirit, using its fossilized skull, then hunted the other souls that resided in the underworld to satiate the hunger that still remained after all those years. The spirit eventually got strong enough to break itself out of the Underworld and into Gensokyo. Now being on the earth’s surface, it couldn’t find many souls that it could simply absorb, as the souls on the earth’s surface often reside inside of a physical body. It preyed on the lost or vengeful souls until the spirit’s power was too great to keep inside of the orb-like phantasmal body.
