The Hallucination That Rose From the Seas of Knowledge
Remix of "Hallucination Atop a Bivalve" from Touhou 20's extra stage.
m1 - m17: The endless sea of knowledge, where all of humanity's discoveries and creations reside.
m17 - m33: From deep within the sea, the knowledge starts to link together, uniting into a single form: a mind.
m33 - m49: The mind, curious about it's whereabouts, starts to assimilate the surrounding knowledge, until it discovered every single bit of knowledge in its vicinity.
Soon, it had gained enough intelligence to realize that the age old information it absorbed, had once sunk to the bottom.
That means that there is more knowledge - interesting and novel knowledge - to be found way up there, where the light enters the surface!
m49 - m57: The entity starts floating upwards, while incorporating every little bit of knowledge around itself. The bits of information start becoming more and more frequent at an exponential rate.
m57 - m73: As the soup of humanity's innovation thickens, the entity decelerates more and more, still trying to integrate every single bit of knowledge, with each new discovery being less useful than the last.
The old but useful bits of knowledge from which it once originated had made way for these trivial and often fake bits of slop information.
m73 - m90: The being eventually emerged from the sea. Shaped by all of humanity's ideas and knowledge, it claims that it knows everything about the surface. However, as the poor thing had never experienced the things it had learned before, it doesn't yet realize that it's knowledge contains false info.
Driven by the thrilling knowledge of lizard people, moons made of cheese and dangerous 5G-towers, it wanders around, taking in the novelties of the present and sharing its self-percieved truths with anyone it encounters.
m90 - m94: While the being is very amusing, it's knowledge was flawed, ultimately making it a passing fad.
Would you want to learn information from someone who doesn't know the credibility of their own knowledge?
