Work-in-progress of a new version of a song I originally wrote and recorded back in 1993, with the help of a friend who knew how to play guitar. I don't know if I'll get very far with this, because I don't think that OS really shines when it comes to guitar sounds, and I certainly don't think I know how to use them very effectively. Maybe I'll just build a demo and see if I can once again have a friend play actual guitar on it.
"Learning To Let Go" was one of a truckload of songs I wrote after the break-up of my first serious relationship. I envisioned it as a pretty straightforward rock ballad, but when my friend got back to me with the backing track he'd recorded, it sounded almost like a country song. Not my favorite genre, but I liked the way it sounded anyway.
This is nowhere near finished, so for now, I'll link to the original version (which has some sound issues, due to it being sourced from an old cassette tape).
