TITLE
i didn't even mean to write this for Valentine's Day
wow i composed this in three hours
and Gabriel says I don't write fast
02/14/2026 (less than a month this time? I might even finish the sonata as well)
Prélude in G Major, Op. 6, No. 5 (from 120 Préludes, Op. 6)
this is playable on a 5-octave piano btw. this was also meant to be completely different from what it is now
anyways this has two MuseScore sheets
because some people really want this to be in 9/8 for some reason, and I'm looking at you, Gabriel Stidham.
I recently discovered the Scriabin Préludes, and they're kind of amazing. My favorite so far is Op. 11, No. 3 (i have only listened to three of them, so this might change tomorrow). My only complaint is that it's just 56 seconds long. Anyway, for me, the only way to get rid of an obsession with a piece of music is to compose something based on it. That's literally how it all started.
I just found out that this is 55 seconds long, literally shorter than the actual piece it was based on that I complained about being too short.
The colors on this one are so much more saturated than the ones around it
I know who you are, Damian.
And @Viri, if you're seeing this, I'm subscribed to you.
