another Scriabin-inspired prélude, what is happening to me?
and yes, it's extremely hard to stay on the same key for more than 3 measures
06/20/2026 (this might be the last piece for a while because: 1. i'm going through the worst time of my life, and 2. i'll be away for 2 weeks)
Prélude in B Major, Op. 6, No. 21 (from 120 Préludes, Op. 6)
well scratch that, i have to wait another 2 weeks before i leave because apparently the mere act of me looking forward to something is a sin and of course it's gonna get cancelled because i'm such a horrible person that i don't deserve to enjoy anything but maybe i'm just faking it which makes me just as bad—
If you couldn't tell already, this is inspired by Op. 11, No. 1. If I hadn't entered my Scriabin era with the Sonata, I'm definitely in it now. For some reason, most of my Scriabin-inspired pieces sound better than my Chopin-inspired pieces (save for both of the Nocturnes, of course).
But the ending itself is inspired by ewrruewc's B Major Prélude. A surprising number of my works are partially inspired by his, including Scherzo-Fantaisie! I'd love to write something based on the B Minor Prélude someday.
And speaking of ewrruewc, the time signature is 10/16. Don't be a Gabriel this time.
Thanks PeaKOS_XD, I stole it from ewrruewc
